Mountainview Retirement Home - Phase 1 - Georgetown
The construction consisted of Mountainview homes consisted of the following into a 27,250 sf 2 storey retirement home:
- 4’ typical concrete foundations with 10’ deep partial basement adjacent to Phase 1
- Retaining walls
- parking expansionÂ
- stormwater management facilitiesÂ
- concrete slab on grade with engineered wood floor joists over basement area
- loadbearing 2 x 6 wood framed exterior and corridor walls plus wood frame shear walls
- engineered wood floor joist system with cemetitious underlayment topping
- wood truss roof structure
- pitched asphalt shingle roofing throughout with PVC single ply membrane roofing for mechanical equipment area only
- masonry firewall and elevator shaft; clay brick veneer
- steel stud demising walls and interior partitions, painted drywall finish throughout
- oak trims throughout common areas (installed by NVC carpenters)
- carpet flooring in majority of areas with vinyl plank flooring in Activity Room
- PTAC heating/cooling in suites. ERV system for make-up air and suite exhausts
- sprinkler system for entire facility including dry system in attic space
- electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, CATV, telephone)
