Elma-Logan Recreation Complex Rehabilitation Project Moves Forward

Residents in the Monkton area will soon enjoy a further improved and expanded recreation facility. The second phase of the Elma-Logan Recreation Complex Rehabilitation Project is ready.

Nith Valley Construction Limited is the successful bidder, and work could be underway as early as next week.

North Perth Director of Recreation Steve Hardie says the close to $650,000 dollar price tag "seems quite reasonable" considering the project includes a new community hall and other significant upgrades.

He stresses the refurbishment of the Elma-Logan Recreation Complex in Monkton would not be possible without community fundraising and a number of grants.
The contractor has set a completion target of mid to late November.
